James Woodrow "Woody" Dillingham, 64, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025. He was the son of the late E.J. and Mary Geneva Lane Dillingham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Cole and Charles Ellison; and a sister-in-law, Lynn Dillingham.

Woody is survived by his wife, Betty Wyatt Dillingham; children, Jamie Dillingham (Elizabeth), Tim Dillingham (Rebecca) and Pamela "Sissy" Clark (Nathan); sisters, Elaine Willis (Clayton), and Robin Cole; brothers, Mikie Dillingham and John Dillingham (Cindy); sister-in-law, Darlene Ellison; grandchildren, Tristin, Peyton, Kinley, and Kolson Dillingham and a special grandson, Dillon Clark; mother-in-law, Judy Wyatt; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Jethro.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 6, 2025, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverends Jerry Shelton, Joel Burton, and Danny Jenkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Thomas F. Dillingham Cemetery 1240 Dillingham Rd. Barnardsville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
