Janet Arlene Chandler Carter, 56, of McDonough, GA, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020. She was a native of Buncombe County and the daughter of Arlyon and Ida Davis Chandler. Janet is preceded in death by a son, David Michael Carter and a brother, Dwayne Chandler.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael Carter; daughters, Krystal and Tina Carter; son, Joshua Carter; brother, Warren Chandler (Pam); and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Monday, May 11, 2020 at Mt. Sheba Baptist Church Cemetery.

Janet was a loving wife and mom who enjoyed being around people. She will be greatly missed.
