Jay Bryant, 77, of Leicester, NC, passed away May 22, 2022. He was the son of the late Lawson and Edna Duckett Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a member of Crossrock Baptist Church. Jay had a love for gospel music and played in several gospel bands. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Darlene Bryant, sister, Kathryn Bright and brother, Howard Bryant.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Fox Bryant; daughter, Tracy Williamson (Mark) and grandchildren, Haylee and Heath Williamson and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge funeral Service. Reverends Howard Self, Gary Rogers and Danny Little will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The burial will follow in the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Eddie Fox conducting the committal service.
