Jean M Pulkin, of Fairview, formerly of Mars Hill, age 89, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. She is the daughter of the late Matthew and Phoebe Johnson Pulkin. She is preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Bower and a brother, Matthew Pulkin. She is survived by a sister, Grace G. Gillespie (Paul) of Gainesville, FL; niece, Bonnie Risher (Dr. Charles) of Fletcher, NC; and a nephew, Mr. & Mrs. James Bower of Edmond, OK. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 10th, at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory in Weaverville with Rev. Ken Roberts officiating.
