Jerry Anderson, 78, of Marshall, NC, passed away, January 4, 2025. He was a lifelong resident of Big Pine and the son of the late Ogden and Ethel Price Anderson. Jerry enjoyed gardening and being outside. He was known for building truck beds. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Emma Worley and a brother, Wade Anderson.

Jerry is survived by a brother, Ray Anderson (Jessie); sisters, Reba Smith, Peggy Hubbard (Randy), Ruth Ann Rice; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Crooked Ridge Cemetery in the Big Pine Community. Reverend Matthew Honeycutt will officiate. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service.
