Jerry Banks, 69, of Spicewood Road passed away Friday, October 30,at Brian Health and Rehabilitation Center in Weaverville. He was the son of Mary Lee McKinney. Mr. Banks is preceded in death by his wife Linda Rowland Banks.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Brenda Banks; son, Jerry Banks Jr. (Stephanie); grandchildren, Gabe Michael and Lilly Kate Banks.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 5, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Gregg Hollifield will officiate. Burial will follow in the Forks of Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
