Jerry Everett Caldwell, age 75, passed away on November 4, 2024. He was born on December 4, 1948 in Madison County, to the late Coleman and Pearl Caldwell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, James Griffin; a sister, Patricia Gahagan; and a brother, Thomas Coleman Caldwell.

Jerry attended Davis Chapel Baptist Church.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Louise Griffin Caldwell; a stepson, Donald Griffin (Doris); a sister, Betty Ann Bearse; three brothers, Bob, Butch and Bill Caldwell; four granddaughters; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Jimmy Dean Hensley and Reverend Jim Hollifield will officiate. Burial will follow in the Griffin Family Cemetery on Henry Treadway Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
