Jerry Davis, 64, of Marshall, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015. He was a native of Madison County and son of the late Collis and Topsy Arrington Davis. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Nevada Roberts, Betty Jean Mathis and Doris Caldwell and brother, T. Carroll Davis. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Chandler and Teresa Davis; grandchildren, Destiny Smith, Lucas Smith, Nathaniel Rogers and Nicholas Davis: great granddaughter, Aizley Thomas; sisters, Gail Davis Cutshall and Geneva Massey and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Dennis Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Arrington Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
