Jerry Dean Haynes, age 80, of Barnardsville passed away March 14 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayland C. and Frances Haynes, daughter Dena

Haynes Rice and grandson Jerrod Haynes.

He is survived by son, Chris Haynes (Michelle), grandson Nathan Haynes, sisters Shelby Cole,

Patsy Dillingham and Marilyn Clouse (Terry), brother Bruce Haynes (Karen) as well as aunts,

uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 17 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Lighthouse

Baptist Church, Martins Creek Road, Barnardsville. Officiating will be Rev. Zac Szabo and Rev.

Nelson Ponder.
