Jerry Carl Norton, age 70, of Marshall passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 15, 2021, at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County and son of the late Carl and Vera Hensley Norton. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, Shane.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Debra Fore Norton; son, Shane Norton (Melissa); sister, Ernestine Maxwell (Gerald); grandchildren, Darian Norton of the home and Logan Norton, who is actively serving in the US Navy in Japan; nephew, Brian Maxwell (Sabrina), niece, Michelle Kirby (Randy); great nieces, Victoria "Tory" and Whitney and great nephew, Christian.
