Obituary
Jerry "Bear" Talton, age 70, of Academy St. passed away at his residence Saturday, February 20, 2021. He is the son of the late Clay and Ethel Gosnell Talton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie, Roger, Verlin, Billy, Jack, and Alvin Talton.
He is survived by his sisters, Linda Kay Wallin, Virginia Talton and Darlene Talton; brothers, Joe Talton (Treva); sister in law, Gay Talton, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in the Tillman Gosnell Cemetery. Reverends John and Mark Brown will officiate.
