Jodi Lyn Jamison Brazil, 58, of Mars Hill, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 after a brief illness. She was a native of Philadelphia, PA, and raised in Roanoke, VA surrounded by a large, loving family. She was the daughter of Jean Bratton Jamison and the late Richard Ellis Jamison.

Jodi was a Registered Nurse and most recently employed with Madison County Health Department. She was also a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. She touched many lives.

She is survived by her husband, John Brazil; daughter, Natalie Corbett (Eric Coombs); and son, John Ellis "Jack" (Teghan). She was best friends with Deana Stephens for the past 20+ years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, likely sometime in late March at Mars Hill Baptist Church.
