Joe Lynn Murray, 73, of Marshall passed away Friday, June 26, 2020. He is the son of the late Moody W. and Orlie Clark Murray and a native of Madison County. In addition to his parents, Joe Lynn is preceded in death by sisters, Julie Rice, Glenna Robinson, and Ruby Glen Murray; brothers, Carl Ed, Bernard, and Doug Murray.

Joe Lynn is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rita Mace Murray; daughter, Karen Payne (Billy); granddaughter, Traci Jo Beiner (Frederick); sisters, Carol Coates and Edith Brown; brothers, Don Murray (Myrtle) and Vance Murray (Treva); sister-in-law, Shirley Murray; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, a private family graveside service will be held at Clark Cemetery Saturday, June 27, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joe Lynn to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
