John Earl Wilson, 90, of Barnardsville passed away April 29, 2023. He was the son of the late James S. and Genova Allen Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Eloise Worley Wilson. John was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during the Korean War.

He is survived by his sons, Johnny and Terry Wilson; a sister, Edith Stiefvater; a brother, Kenneth Wilson; and 5 grandchildren, Holly Riley, Ellyana, Makayla, Jeremy Wilson, and Christina Gleason.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at West Memorial Park, Weaverville. Mr. Terry Wilson and Mrs. Rosalee Hutchins will officiate.
