Mr. John Hackman, 80, of Weaverville, NC died at his home on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021. John is the son of the late Herbert and Anne Boyd Hackman. He is also preceded in death by; his stepmother, Margaret Hackman who raised him after his mother passed away; and his son, Eddy Hackman.

Mr. Hackman is survived by his wife, Melody Miller Hackman; son, James Hackman (Patricia); daughter, Julie Hackman (Cesar Esparza); sister, Mary Hackman; brother, Gene Hackman; grandchildren, Juliette and Wendy Esparza, Emma and Anna Hackman.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Kenneth Miller will officiate. Burial will be Monday, March 8, 2021 at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Laurens South Carolina. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 1pm to 2pm at the funeral home.
