Johnny Robinson, age 77, of Mars Hill, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday September 27, 2023. He was born in Madison County on August 15, 1946 to the late Clarence and Virgie Lewis Robinson.

Johnny was an avid hunter and fisherman. White tailed deer hunting was his passion. He was a member of Upper Laurel Baptist Church. Johnny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a hard worker and always had to stay busy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Dean Robinson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Julie Allison Robinson; sons, Joey and Jeff Robinson; sister, Bernice Fox (Phil); brothers, D.C Robinson (Connie), and Weldon Robinson (Louise); grandchildren and great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Doris Allison; brothers-in-law, Fender Allison, Jr., Mark Allison (Cheryll), and Shane Allison (Heidi); several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday October 1, 2023, in Upper Laurel Baptist Church. Reverends Junior Hensley and Brian Coates will officiate. A private burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
