Joseph Adam Powell, 37, of Mars Hill, passed away, December 21, 2025. He was the son of Joseph "Joe" and Tonya Jones Powell.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Ralph Powell, Jr. and Eula Mae Rumbough and maternal grandfather, Jerry Lee Jones.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a maternal grandmother, Linda Jones; sisters, Ashley Powell, Elizabeth Fisher and Jennifer Powell; nephews, Bryson, Brennon, and Braden Cunningham, and a niece, Bailee Cunnigham.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

All are welcome to visit with the family after the service, at Stacey Teasley's home, 2465 US 19 Hwy. Mars Hill, NC 28754.
