Joseph Roy Wooten, 70, passed away on July 14, 2025. Born on June 4, 1955, he was the son of the late Roy and Clara Morgan Wooten. Also preceding him in death was his sister, Gwen Wooten.

Joseph was a United State Navy Veteran and retired as a store clerk.

He is survived by his sons, Nicholas Wooten (Carlista) and Grayson Wooten, and a grandson, Wynn Wooten.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in the Morgan Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Weaverville.
