Josephine Norton Riddle, 85, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at her residence. She was a native of Madison County and daughter of the late Oliver and Arthie Norton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Riddle and a sister, Ida Cutshall. She is survived by her daughter, Mazester "Mae" Brooks; sisters, Mary Lou Shelton (Clifton), Lou Hester Cutshaw, and Robbie Shelton; brothers, Amos Norton and Andy Norton (Iva); grandchildren, Jill Shelton (Mike), Sue Shelton (Tim), Joan Shelton (Hughie), Nina Shelton (Jody), Clifton Shelton (Mary Lou) and Homer Shelton (Barbara); nine great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm throughout the evening Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Spillcorn Church of God. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, April 4, 2018, with Reverends Eddie Roberts, Raymond Cantrell, and Jason Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at the Norton Family Cemetery.
