Joshua G. Broyles, 47 of Sevierville, Tennesee, went to be with our Lord, September 22nd, 2021, after an extended stay at Leconte Medical Center with complications from covid, surrounded by his family.
Josh was raised in the Shelton Laurel community of Marshall. He attended Madison High School, graduating class of 1992. After graduation Josh moved to Asheboro North Carolina where he was an active member of Franklinville Fire Department after receiving his auctioneer certification, he worked at Ramsuer auction house with his father. Josh and his son returned to Madison County for several years before moving to Sevierville with his fiancé.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Grant and Thursie Shelton, his paternal grandparents: Clyde and Ada Broyles, his stepmother: Arlene Broyles and his niece Sarah Goforth.
Josh is survived by his parents: Brenda and Lawrence Crowder and Kenny Broyles, his fiancé Cortney Croft, his sons Kevin (Tina) Broyles, Dylan and Dalton Wilson. Josh is also survived by sister Lynn (Dewayne) Goforth, brother Patrick (Rachel) Broyles. His nieces Kelsey (Casey) Boone, Elaina Broyles and nephew Dakota (Cheyenne) Goforth. Great nieces and nephews, Maylee Goforth, Raylan Goforth, Kinley Boone, Blaine and Bransen Goforth.
Josh was a loyal and true friend to all that knew him, and he never met a stranger. He was a larger-than-life man, with an even bigger heart. He loved his family and his two dogs, Brody and Flossie. He will be greatly missed by so many.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Phillip Parker and Ronald Roberts will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00pm prior to the service.
