Joyce Morgan Brown, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior in heaven on Sunday, October 20, 2024. She was born on April 2, 1946 in Jackson County, North Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Jess Lee and Mary Rebecca Ammons Morgan, husband; Willie James Brown who passed away in 2004, and her son, Loren Brown.

Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, as well as a faithful homemaker and caregiver.

She is survived by her children; William Michael Brown, Maria Crowder (Roland), Adam Brown, Daniel Brown (Shirley) and Bonnie Dockery (Bill); her siblings, Raymond Morgan, Shirley Robinson, Brenda Bass, Irene Hensley, Sammy Morgan, James Mogan; and grandchildren, Wesley, Curtis, Nathan, Lee Ann, Bill, Tim, Kristian, Steven, Brianna, Sarah; great grandchildren, Ariana, Arabella, Mason, Madison, and Adeline.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 24, 2024, in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Weaverville. Reverend David Crowder will officiate.
