Judith Ann Wilson Rice, age 66, of Weaverville, passed away on Thursday August 17, 2023. She was born on March 28, 1957 in Transylvania County, to the late Charles and Janie McCall Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher, and a sister, Wanda.

Judith is survived by her husband, Jerry Rice; daughter, Tamara Copp (Tim); sons, Gerald Rice (Tina), Matt Rice (Lisa), Brian Rice (Melanie), Gene Rice, and Jeremy Rice (Rebecca); eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Gonzalez, Cathy Sprouse, and Debbie Wilson; special friends, Deborah Roberts and Bobby Norton; and 4 nieces, Sherrie, Malina, Tonya, and Amanda.

A graveside service will be held in Long's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, at a later date, to be announced.
