It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, Judy "Diane" Clark of Burnsville, formerly of Mars Hill. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at The Greens Nursing Home in Weaverville. Born in Mars Hill on April 29, 1954, to the late Thurston and Lila Clark.

Judy was a person who was so positive about life even in the depth of her illness. She was grateful for every day that she was given and made the most of them. Judy worked for the Blue Ridge Group Home in Mars Hill for 26 years. She was dedicated to her clients and cared for them like they were her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to all she came in contact with.

She is survived by her brother, Donnie Clark; sister-in-law, Kathleen Clark; niece Megan Thompson and her husband Aaron; her great-niece, Katie Burroughs; and all those who knew her since childhood and loved her.

Judy was buried in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery on January 17th, 2024.
