JULIA MOORE BAILEY ALEXANDER-Julia Mary Moore Bailey, 58, of 44 White Thorn Drive, completed her earthly journey. She is now in Heaven singing with God's angels. She was the daughter of Rev. George & Mozelle Moore. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska, having lived most of her life in Madison & Buncombe Counties. She attended Marshall Presbyterian Church for over 30 years, and was currently attending North Asheville Baptist Church. She was employed with Asheville Gastroenterology Associates for over 20 years and co-owner of Rick's NAPA in Marshall.. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 30 years, Rickey Bailey; a daughter, Katherine Capps & husband Tim of Mars Hill; a son, Jeffrey Bailey & wife Sarah of Asheville; two sisters, Jennie Edmonds & husband Kenny of Erwin, TN, & Janice Ayer & husband Ray of Mars Hill; two granddaughters, Ella Paige & Anna Blair Capps; father & mother-in-law, Jack & Esther Bailey, of Mars Hill; two sisters-in-law, Tricia Banks & husband Doug of Mtn. Holly, & Donna Cauble of Asheville; a brother-in-law, Keith Bailey & wife Vickie of Mars Hill; and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service, 7626 Highway 213, Mars Hill. Revs. Jim Dykes, George Moore, and Ken Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery with Rev. Chris Edmonds officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8, Monday, at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home.
