Julia "Sally" Banks Harron, 93, of Weaverville, NC, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Born on July 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter Howard and Nancy Daniel Banks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Burniss Harron; and brothers, Euhl Banks, Walter Banks, Jr., and Tom Banks, Sr.

Sally was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family was a treasured part of her life. She worked as a beautician for many years, dedicating her time and talents to serving others. Sally was a member of Mount Sheba Baptist Church, where she shared in the fellowship of her church family. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Timothy "Tim" Harron; sisters, Henrietta Haney, Lucy Ledbetter, and Freda Lynch; grandsons, Ryan Harron (Heather) and Craig Harron; five great-grandchildren, Kolbie, Easton, Brayden, Braylee, and Brinley Harron; along with several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Sally's life will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 30, 2026, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Steve Rhinehart and nephew, David McDaris will officiate. Burial will follow at West Memorial Park in Weaverville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
