Junis Boyd King, 73, of Horseshoe, NC passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, in Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC. Junis was the son of the late Russell and Verlie Rogers King. Junis was a local dump truck driver and worked for Hamilton Trucking before retiring. Junis was also preceded in death by his wife: Lisa King.

Junis is survived by three children: Sheila King, Austin King, and David King; three siblings: Phyllis Harris and husband David, Dallas King and wife Linda, and Perry King and wife Lorraine.
