Justice Anne Wilson Cooper, 30, of Barnardsville, NC passed away on March 14, 2026 in Winston-Salem. Justice was born on June 15, 1995, in Emanuel County, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Lewis Ewell.
Justice loved to travel and had taken several cruises, her favorite place to be, was on a beach, in the sunshine listening to the ocean. Justice enjoyed long car rides and singing to her favorite tunes. Karaoke was a favorite thing for her to do. She was creative and enjoyed art, especially drawing. Although she did not cook very often, when she did, she made a delicious fried chicken dinner, but we never asked her to bake because it never turned out very good. She was a unique, rebellious, stubborn, feisty and caring person who would make you laugh when you were feeling bad. Her smile was contagious and she loved her siblings with her hole heart. She will be missed.
She is survived by three children, Brantley, Logan, and McKenzie Cooper; her parents, Jennifer and Bruce Wilson; paternal grandparents, Lillian and O'Neil Riddle; maternal grandmother, Anne Russell; siblings, Autumn Shepard (Gage) and Travis Wilson (Emily); and her nieces and nephews, Colton, Adalyn, and Riylea Shepard, Lucas Wilson, Brooklyn and Haven Buchanan.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday March 22, 2026, in the Chapel of North Black Mountain Baptist Church in Barnardsville, NC. Pastor Kenny Stump will officiate. The family will receive friends and family 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
