Karen Sue Edwards English, age 69 of Mars Hill, departed this life on Saturday, July 24, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Dana and Betty Rose Hoyle Edwards. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Gerald Shelton and son Andy Shelton, and second husband Jack English.

She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Robinson (Roger); sister, Judy Spindler (Chris); grandchildren, Courtney and Travis Shelton; nieces, Jennifer Yeager and Kelly Calloway; nephews, Josh and Bryan Shelton and her 4-legged companion "Waylon".

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Burial will follow in the Upper Laurel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 – 2:00 prior to the service.

At other times the family will be at the home of Rhonda Robinson, 1189 Crooked Creek Road, Mars Hill, NC.
