Katherine Jarvis Ramsey, 89 of Little Ivy Church Rd., passed away at her residence Tuesday, October 27, 2015. She was a native of Madison County and daughter of the late Jim and Mary George Jarvis. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ramsey was also preceded in death by her husband James Ramsey, six sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by a sister Johnnie Allen.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2015 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Officiating will be Reverends Scott Dotson and Woody Dillingham. Burial will follow in the Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
