Katherine Farkas Smith, 75, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 after an extended illness. She was born in Budapest, June 22, 1944. Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Valentine and Kathleen Stehling Farkas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Susie Farkas Maney and brothers, Steven and Alexander Farkas.

Mrs. Smith is survived by a nephew, Chris Maney; and niece, Alanna Farkas Williams and their families. She is also survived by all her beloved friends that loved her and that she loved dearly. A special thanks to the Mountain Home Health & Rehabilitation Center for their professional care and love for Katherine.
