Ms. Kathleen Croom Beck, 56, of Mars Hill, NC died on Sunday, August 7th, 2022, at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville, NC, following a brief battle with cancer. Kathy was the daughter of Jo Ann Thomas Croom and the late Richard Croom.

Kathy is survived by her son: Dillon Beck, one sister: Sharon Croom Amaya (Greg), one brother: Dallas Croom (Maggie McIntyre). She is also survived by a host of loyal friends and extended family.

Kathy graduated from Western Carolina University and later completed a degree in Graphics Art Design. She had a brilliant mind and could famously finish a puzzle in record time. Her creative artistic talents were vast and an important part of her life. She shared many of her talents with those around her.

While no formal services are planned at this time, a celebration of Kathy's life is planned for a later date.
