Kathleen Davis Phillips, 90, of Mars Hill, passed away June 26, 2025. She was the daughter of the late George Washington and Ella Street Davis. Mrs. Phillips loved genealogy and was a member of California Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Perry Philips.

She is survived by; sons, David Phillips (Dana) and Mark Phillips; grandchildren, Kyle Phillips (Anna Kate) and Carson Phillips; brother, Walter Eugene Davis; brother-in-law, Robert Phillips and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 29, 2025, at California Creek Baptist Church of which she was a member. Rev. Josh McDevitt will officiate. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
