Kathy Elaine Buckner, age 67, of Marshall, passed away on October 13, 2023. She was born on December 8, 1955, in Greene County, TN, to the late Lois and Alma Lee (Norton) Buckner.

Kathy enjoyed watching the world around her, people passing by, animals, and looking at nature. She loved listening to Conway Twitty, attending church, cutting up, and loafering.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Holly Norton (Tommy); brothers, Malcolm Buckner (Paula), and Michael Buckner (Rose); nephews, Brian Buckner, and his son: Austin; and a niece Kara Waites; aunts, Kay Burleson (Joe), Patricia Chandler, and Gertrude Rice; and many special cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday October 17, 2023 in Buckner Cemetery, Easter Gap Road Marshall. Reverends Jimmy Dean Hensley and Harlon Chandler will officiate.

The family would also like to recognize and offer special thanks to the staff of Elderberry Health and Rehab for the love and care given to Kathy during her stay.
