Katilyn Elaine Porché Payne, 28, of Mars Hill passed away on Monday September 20, 2021 at her home. She is the daughter of Daniel Porché (Melisa) and Gina Herrick Price (William). Katilyn was a registered nurse in the Labor and Delivery at Mission Hospital. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Stephanie Lagrua and her paternal great grandfather, Kenneth Porché, Sr.

In addition to her parents Katilyn is survived by her husband, Jonathan Payne; children Dakota and Allysa Payne; sisters, Miranda Smith, and Amanda Perron; brother, William Boyer; Father and Mother-in-law, Roger and Kathy Price; paternal grandparents, Kenneth Jr. and Theresa Porché; grandparents, Roy and Sandra Riddle; paternal great grandmother, Oma L. Porché; uncle and aunt, Jason and Koline Riddle; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of her Life will be held 1:00pm Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Upper Laurel Baptist Church. Reverend Cline Hensley Jr. will officiate.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses and other medical personal that assisted in the care for Katilyn during her illness.
