Kenneth Brown, 79, of Marshall, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the son of the late Eunie McKinnely and Susan Buckner Brown. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Brown.

Kenneth was an avid trout fisherman and woodworker.

He is survived by his sons, Keith Brown (Charlene) and Scott Brown (Karen); grandchildren, Rebekah and Megan Brown, and Jeremy Proffitt and Christy Anders; great grandchildren, Maddie Proffitt, Isaiah Davis and Zoe Stanis; nephew, Steve Brown (Misty) and their children, Steven and Paige Brown.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service. Reverends Mike Thomas and Robbie Raines will officiate. Burial will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Wednesday, at the funeral home.
