Kenneth Dale Metcalf, 68, of 396 Ivy Ridge Church Rd., passed away February 16, 2016. He was the son of Ina "Dink" Metcalf and the late Irene Ingle Metcalf. In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Gowen-Metcalf. Mr. Metcalf is survived by daughters, Evetta Metcalf, Stephanie Maynard and Melisa Barker; grandchildren, Andrea Naassan, Trisha Griffin, Damien Maynard and Jade Friszell; great grandchildren, Jamie Rae Bryant and Macey Reece. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Friday, February 19 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Pastor Raymond Cantrell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ivy Ridge First Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
