Kimberly Higgins Chandler, 50 of Scenic View Drive departed this life at her residence on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Kim was a native of Madison County and daughter of the late Grover Howard Higgins and Sheila Tipton Whitt. She was previously employed as a guide for horse tours on Big Pine Ranch. In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her husband; Bobby Jack Chandler, daughter; Magon Chandler (Josh), sons; Jeffery Roberts (Shannon), Kenny Roberts (Asheleigh Veltmen), Jarred and Jordan Chandler, sister; Suzanne Allen, brother; Mark Higgins (Jennifer), six grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Ronnie Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
