Kimberly Anne Deitz Edwards, 55, passed away on March 19, 2026. She was born on February 10, 1971, to Mary Cabe Murray and late Raymond Deitz, she was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill Murray.

Kim was a truck driver with NC Department of Transportation. Outside of work, she found joy in riding horses, camping, and spending time outdoors. She would help anyone in need of anything, without being asked.

She is survived by her loving mother, Mary Cabe Deitz Murray; her former husband, Randy Edwards; her siblings, Cindy Westall (Alex) and Doug Deitz (Janet); and her cherished fur babies, who brought her endless comfort and companionship.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Compassionate Care of WNC, especially her nurse, Tammy, as well as Randy Edwards, for the love and care shown to Kim during her illness.
