Larry Wayne Davis, 70, of Mars Hill, NC died on Friday, August 5th, 2021, at his home. Larry was born to the late Elmer and Fuschia McIntosh Davis on February 2, 1951, in Buncombe County. Larry was a truck driver employed by the US Postal Service and was a US Army Veteran. Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Wendell McIntosh.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Jean George Davis of the home; two daughters, Janet Evans and Cathy George; two sons, Woody George and Christian Evans; son-in-law Kevin T. Manning; one sister, Patricia Lail; two brothers, Leon Davis and Steve Roberts; 5 grandchildren, Larry "Stormy" Evans, Brittany George, Jersey Evans, Elijah George, and Jeffrey George and all of them were like his own children, and 5 great-grandchildren, River, Winter, patience, Art, and Story; two nephews: Tim Lail (Tammy) and Shane Lail (Mandy), and two nieces, Leslie Lail and Michelle Bodendorf.
