Larry Dennis Peek, 64, of Beech Glenn Rd., went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, September 21, 2014. Mr. Peek was the son of the late Theron and Ella Mace Peek. He was employed with Micro-Switch a Division of Honeywell, for 25 years, and had delivered the Sunday morning newspaper for the last 26 years. Mr. Peek was a Godly man who always knew where he was going and prayed for his family daily. He was a peacemaker and the leader of his family, a wonderful husband and the best daddy, who was so proud of his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Judy Ballard Peek; daughters, Sherri Lewis (Dwayne); sons, Raleigh Peek (Tammy), Chad Peek (Kylie); grandchildren, Kaley, Destiny, Canaan, Jasmine, Brody, Levi and Ella; great grandchild Aidan; brother and best friend, Stanley Peek (Margaret).

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, September 25, at Beech Glenn Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Reverends J.D. Deaton, B.P. Boyle and Stanley Peek will officiate. Burial will follow in the Peek Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm, Wednesday, September 24, at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.

At other times the family will be at the home of Raleigh Peek, 1808 East Fork Rd., Marshall, NC 28753.
