Lawrence "Pete" Cutshall age 91, passed away peacefully on Septembrer 13th, 2024, He was born on the 23rd of April, 1933. He was a native of Madison County and retired from Crescent Land and Timber Company, a division of Duke Power (now Duke Energy).

He is preceded in death by wife; Lucille Shelton Cutshall, children; Ricky Keith Cutshall; and Katherine Marie Cutshall. His parents; Luther and Lovina Shelton Cutshall. Siblings; Cleophus "Clee" Cutshall; Sherman "Zib" Cutshall; Emily Cutshall Shelton; Vicie Cutshall Dunbar; Hazel Cutshall Metcalf; Arvil "Stod" Cutshall; Luther "Blackie" Cutshall Jr.; and Betty Jean Cutshall.

He is survived by Marvin Cutshall and wife Deborah Schrum Cutshall; Viola Cutshall Shelton and husband Oliver "Dean" Shelton; and several special nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 18th in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Eddie Roberts will officiate. A burial will follow in the Lisenbee Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm prior to the service.
