Lee Moore, 86, of Lou Drive, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 at his residence. He was the son of the late James Allen and Sarah Jane Ramsey Moore. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Charlie Lee Moore, brothers, Nelson Moore and Andrew Lewis. Mr. Moore loved being with his family. He was a hard-working, caring man, that enjoyed taking walks and loved music. He is survived by his wife Jane Ledbetter Moore; daughters, Rosa Lee Moore, Emily Jane Draggoo; son, Calvin Ray Moore, Sr.; grandchildren, Jenny, Sara Beth and Christine Vetter, Londale, Yolanda, Alea and Charles Lyman, Tammy, Charlie, Joseph and Sandy Degunion, Ashley and Jimmy Draggoo, Meredith Matthews, Calvin Ray Moore Jr., Pamela, Corey, Chuck and Branden Moore. He has 26 great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 10, 2016 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Ken Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in Ingle Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
