IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lee Jason
Wilde
October 30, 1976 – April 7, 2025
Lee Wilde, 48, of Marshall, went to his heavenly home on Monday, April 7, 2025. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Ruby Thomas, paternal grandparents, Truman and Lola Wilde, as well as his grandparents-in-law, Bill and Faye Candler.
Lee is survived by the love of his life, Chanell Wilde, his three wonderful children, Lillie, Luke, and Lane Wilde; his parents, Gary and Nancy Wilde; father-in-law, Brook Lunsford and mother-in-law, Selena Candler; brother, Kevin Wilde; sister-in-law, Jaclyn (Grayson) Hensley, brother-in-law, Dalton (Taylor) Lunsford; uncles, Lendon (Rosemary) Thomas, and Ron Thomas; cousins, Melanie, Monica, Audrey (Aubrey), Andrew, Keegan, and Gabby.
Lee loved his family more than anything in the world. He was so proud of all his children. He loved watching Lillie do her competition dance. He loved watching Luke play sports, but most of all he loved coaching Luke and all the other kids in baseball. He was so excited for the day that he got to coach Lane and have him join them on the field. Lee was very passionate about music, guns, and motorcycles. He enjoyed going to gun shows with Luke and Toby, concerts with his wife and friends, singing karaoke with his wife, and going to swap meets. Every Saturday he would take both of his boys to the Wagon Wheel for breakfast to sit and talk with all the men. Lee Wilde has done many benefits and fundraisers for so many and did it all behind the scenes because that is just the loving, caring person he was and he would do it for everyone, even if he didn't know them. Lee was an amazing Daddy, Husband, Son, Friend, and Coach. He has most definitely left his stamp on this world and on the hearts of all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service. Reverends Matthew Honeycutt and Phillip Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Coates Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12-3pm Sunday at the funeral home.
