Leonard Earl Roberts, 77 of Marshall went home to join his Heavenly Father and precious wife on Friday, November 27, 2015 at John F. Keever Solace Center. He was a native of Madison County and the son of Johnny and Susie Roberts. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Annie Mae Wilson Roberts, sister, Lee; brothers, Lloyd, Coy, Branson, Ray, James and Howard. Leonard was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda King (Max) of Leicester and Gail Craine (Eric) of Marshall; son, Randy Roberts (Freda) of Marshall; sisters, Opal Rice, Margaret Riddle and Ellen Roberts; brother, Richard Roberts; grandchildren, Cindy, Lisa, Daniel and Carrie; great grandchildren, Dawson, Jaydon, Peyton, Grayson, Fiona and one on the way.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Danny Jenkins, Ken Parker and Pastor B.P. Boyle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ridgeview Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5 – 7 pm, Monday, November 30th in the funeral home.
