Mars Hill: Leslie Rathbone, age 74, a former resident of Madison Manor Health & Rehabilitation, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville. He was the son of the late Johnny and Roberta Rogers Rathbone. He is survived by his sisters, Rosie Mae Moody and Kathy West; brothers, Mal, Mack, Kim and Tom Rathbone; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 2, 12:00 PM in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Dallas James and Joey Dorn will officiate. Burial will be held in the Haynes Top Cemetery located in Cold Springs Ranch in Haywood County. Michael Garrison will conduct graveside rites.
