Lilly May Candler Davis, age 80, of Marshall, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024. Born on December 12, 1942, in Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde H. and Mary Edwards Candler.
Lilly enjoyed camping and was a social butterfly. She loved spending time with the love of her life, William Frank Davis, Sr. for 49 years, and her family.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William "Frank" Davis, Sr.; a sister, Mary Ruth Davis; and a brother, Bill Candler.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Annemarie Davis; son, William Frank Davis, Jr.; sister, Linda Anders; brothers, Ralph and Clyde Candler; five grandchildren, Dale Osborne (Tracey), Dillon Revis (Brandi), Breanna Davis, Kaylie Revis (Brandon), and Kayden Davis; and five great grandchildren, Ty, Emma, Mason, Zeke, Maverick and one on the way.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday July 23, 2024, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Steve Rhinehart will officiate. The Committal will take place at 2:00 pm in the WNC State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
