Linda Candler Anders, 75, of Marshall, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Lee Edwards Candler. Linda was a member of Mt. Sheba Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Ruth Davis (Fain), Lilly May Davis (Frankie), and a brother, Billy Ray Candler (Faye).

Linda is survived by her husband of 57 years, Larry Anders; daughters, Tamara Robinson (Kelly), and Heather Rhinehart (Steven); son, Shane Anders (Shirley); brothers, Clyde Hugh Candler (Freida), and Ralph Candler; grandchildren, Bricen Anders, Taylor Robinson, Hannah Anders, Chase Wall, Andrew Rhinehart; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service. Reverend Steve Rhinehart will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family will hold a private inurnment for Linda at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
