Linda Dail Rowland Banks, 59, of Spicewood Road passed away Tuesday, September 15, at Memorial Mission Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Orene Thompson Rowland. Mrs. Banks was a member of the Forks of Ivy Baptist Church for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Banks Sr.; daughter, Brenda Banks; son, Jerry Banks Jr. (Stephanie); grandchildren, Gabe Michael and Lilly Kate Banks; sister, Brenda Guinn and brother Bruce Rowland. A memorial service will be held 3:00 Sunday, September 20, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Gregg Hollifield and Jerry Shelton will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754 to help with final expenses.
