Linda Kaye Hewitt Cogdill, 58, of Candler, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Mission Hospital in Asheville. She was the daughter of the late James Jenkins Hewitt and Helen Ruth Waldrop Hewitt. Linda was also preceded in death by her brother: Joe Hewitt.

Linda is survived by her significant other of 22 years: Randy Boyd; her daughters: Deanea Dominguez (Julian), Shanna Hunt, and April Cogdill; two sons: Richard Cogdill (Kalyn) and Mark Cogdill; two sisters: Faye Buckner and Diane Williams; two brothers: Jim and Charles Hewitt; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021, at 2:00pm in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00pm prior to the funeral on Monday, November 1, 2021. Burial will follow in Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery.
