Linda "Gail" Gosnell English, 57, of Mars Hill, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020. She is the daughter of Ruben Kenneth and Oma Shelton Gosnell. Gail is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jimmie and Falecia Shelton and paternal grandparents, Ruben and Esther Gosnell.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Marvin English; and fur baby, "Tiny Sue"; step-sons, Nick English (Regina) and Joey English (Amanda); sisters, Judy Shelton (Gene), Wilma Keller (Daniel), and Sandy Metcalf (Ray); grandchildren, John Michael, Bryson, and Tanner English; and nieces and nephews, Scottie Shelton (Tina), Cynthia Smith (Timothy), Kelsey Keller (David), Tyler Keller, Falecia, Kayla and Raegan Metcalf.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Ronnie Ledford will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gosnell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 prior to the service.
